St Charles Village

St. Charles Village, with 44 independent living cottages, affords attractive living accommodations designed for independence, privacy and individuality, while offering the social and religious opportunities provided by the St. Charles Community.

Cottages feature:
  • An eat-in kitchen, with electric range, refrigerator and disposer
  • A laundry room with washer and dryer
  • 1 or 2 bedrooms
  • Large living room
  • Bathrooms with safety features
  • Attached garage with storage space
  • Patio or screened-in porch
  • Central air-conditioning and Electric baseboard heat

  • Interior and exterior maintenance of cottage
  • Maintenance of Village owned appliances
  • Water and sanitation
  • Yard maintenance and snow removal
  • Trash pick-up


    • Financial Information
    Village residents pay a one-time occupancy fee plus a monthly residency fee which entitles the person to live in the Village as long as he/she is capable of independent living. A portion of the occupancy fee is refundable if the cottage is vacated within 90 months. The amount of the occupancy fee and the residency fee is determined by the size, location and amenities of the cottage.
